WOYWW 336

Hi fellow desk travellers. Just a quick post from me today as I'm busy doing a little crafting and we all know how precious those moments are.

So, here it is! Not my usual desk, but my dining table as I'm keeping hubby company with a bit of telly in the background.

I'm playing with the Papermania Bare Basics large matchboxes at the moment, I have a bit of a thing for matchboxes lately and these are no exception.

If you'd like to join in the hop you can find more info. here.

Enjoy the hop and Happy Scrapping.

  2. I like matchboxes too. I once joined a swap which meant you had to fill a matchbox with bits of yourself (you know what I mean, things about you - not fingers and toes LOL). Must check out this blog hop you talk about.
Hope you had a nice day with hubby and the tv.
    Thanks for visiting me earlier.

  3. You've just taken me back in time - making Sindy doll furniture out of my dad's old matchboxes when I was a child! I love little boxes and treasures and your desk is delightfully intriguing - I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with them - are they part of the preparations for Christmas? Thanks so much for the earlier visit, I hope you have a great week,

    1. Hi Diana, I've made a few matchbox items some as mini storage and some to house mini plaques. Check them out using the labels on the right.

  5. I love just taking ordinary matchboxes (matches and all) and decorating them with nice paper and a bit of something. Makes great gifts: useful, something with little monetary value, great to look at... And if the decoration is really nice, it can be regilled untill the scraping surface is worn out! Happy woyww :)

  6. I love working with matchboxes too. I've recycled used ones in the past, but I just found the Tim Holtz matchbox die on sale recently, so can't wait to experiment with that as well. Thanks for the visit and blessings!
