WOYWW 311

My usually neat little desk....well, okay fairly neat..,.,a little messy..... a complete bombsite lately, it's struggling to contain a lovely bundle of new product. I've completed one mini book with this pile so far and have plans for the little Ikea frame dumped on top involving mini owls. I really must try to use more stamps, so the owl set may come in for a little experimentation. I think I need to sort out a draw specifically for new kit so I can keep it all together and know what I have to use without leaving it all over my desk, that way I might be able to actually craft at it.

Have a little scout round if you have time and if not thanks for visiting, even if it's just for the hop.

If you'd like to join the hop check out http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/ for details.

Happy Scrapping.

  1. Hi Michelle thanks for visiting - I have a rule that new stash doesn't get put away until I have used it at least once ! But it does involve having a ring binder with poly-pockets and a bag by my desk with goodies waiting to be enjoyed !! I love owls - do share what you make ! Ali #9

    1. Hi Ali, this pile of goodies is for design team projects so is definitely gonna get used it's just keeping it separate that always gets a little messy. I'll share the projects as soon as they're past the hush hush phase. Thanks for visiting.

    1. Hi Bridget, I have a bit more space than shown here and that suits me. A bigger desk would be nice, but I'd probably end up covering it in more bits and end up with the same work space.

    1. My little stegosaurus is a pencil sharpener that hubby put in my Christmas stocking. I occasionally have it walking around my desk as it's a wind up walker......I know, we're a couple of big kids. x

    1. Hi Robyn, I don't know about tidy, but I do try. I make loads of mini books just because I love them. Sometimes I give some as gifts, but most are just for me. I find they're great for photos from a day out or event when a layout doesn't capture everything. Thanks for visiting

  7. I am drooling over your lovely craft stash. When bringing new stash home I put it into a plastic basket, so I can see it and not forget about it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

    1. Yes, I keep them sprawled over the desk for a while until I whittle them down a bit, but I need to have a rethink.

  10. Hi Michelle thanks for visiting, noticed you have an x cut machine are the dial up thickness as good as everyone is reviewing them as? we can't get the machines here is Australia. I have boxes for all sorts of unfinished jobs and new to start it's just a matter of knocking them over when time is generous to me. love your little desk, beats me how you keep it so neat and tidy.

    Have a super week crafting.

    1. HI Eliza, to be perfectly honest I've only used it for card and embossing so haven't had to use all the settings, but it really cuts and embosses well. I haven't had any areas that don't cut. Thanks for visiting.
