Sketchy Sunday no. 62

It's a grizzly day outside, so perfect for crafting up a storm. I've got a couple of projects on the go and I'm definitely thinking of starting a new layout as I've got quite a few pics that the Inspiration Interrogation questions have drawn my attention to.

So for those of you like me who have got a layout brewing, here's this week's sketch to maybe help it along the way.

I love clocks so it was about time - get it! - that I based a design on a clock face. These are so easy to create, just a circle with some little blocks for the hour markers, unless you're lucky enough to own a die or electronic cutter in which case you can get a little more detailed.

So, now we've taken care of the layouts here's some pics of one of my older mini albums.

If you'd like to make your own version just take some scrap chipboard and ink around the edges, Use a brush to roughly apply glue to the centre of the chipboard and drag outwards, but not to the edge of the page. Apply your paper and leave to dry. Once dry carefully tear your paper up and away from the chipboard, this give a rough edge where it has stuck to the glue. Have a little practise with some scraps till you get the knack, it really is a quick and effective way to create a mini.

Happy Scrapping.
